Portraits that feel like you. Natural, expressive and authentic images created to show your personality, whether for yourself, your career or your personal brand.
Portrait photography is one of my favorite areas to shoot. As you can see in my portfolio, I deliberately use a wide range of approaches, from clean studio shots to more staged and editorial portraits. For me, the person in front of the camera is always the focus. Thatโs why I donโt try to follow the same formula with everyone, but rather to figure out what works best for each individual. Lighting, styling, background, and posing are important, but in the end, the portrait still has to convey something of the personโs personality to me.

I find the psychological aspect particularly fascinating, especially when it comes to portraits. For me, there isnโt just one way to guide a person in front of the camera. I try to figure out very quickly what my subject needs to feel comfortable and come across as authentic. With some people, I set a clear mood and provide relatively detailed guidance on posing, expression, and movement. Others need significantly more freedom and perform better when I intervene less.

I also consciously adapt my communication style to each individual. Some people quickly gain confidence through positive feedback and compliments, while the exact opposite can make others feel insecure. For me, therefore, an essential part of portrait photography is being able to read people and sense during the shoot when I should guide, motivate, or take a step back.
Itโs precisely this combination of photography and psychology that I particularly love about portraits. In the end, itโs not just lighting, technique, and composition that determine whether a good image is created, but also the relationship and trust between the person in front of and behind the camera.
